Heyyyy, let's start with the basics!

I'm Daezerae Gil (you can call me Dezi!), a photographer based in Winnipeg, and I help people show up as their most authentic, unapologetic selves in front of the camera.

I work across three main lanes. Brand photography (Badass Brand Lifts) for business owners who need images that actually look like them and their work, not stock photos with a logo slapped on top. Legacy Portrait sessions for people who want to capture a season of their life, on their own terms. And weddings, where I get to document the real moments, the ones that happen between the posed shots.

My approach is candid and in-the-moment. I want the real smiles, the real connection, the stuff that happens when you forget the camera is there. If you've ever sat through a shoot feeling stiff and posed within an inch of your life, that's not what happens here.

Outside of client work, I'm cuddled up on a couch with my husband dude and 2 beautiful pugs, watching wrestling.
